There are a number of things that women get nervous about when approaching their job search:
Some say up to 70% of jobs will never get advertised. Which makes networking the most effective job searching strategy. But - despite priding yourself on having excellent relationship building skills - when it comes to networking for yourself you're worried. You don't want to impose. You don't want to 'use' people. You don't want to waste someone's time.
Articulating your strengths
You've done amazing things. Built high-performing teams. Delivered projects. Worked in senior positions. Always delivered.
But when asked what your strengths are you're lost for words. It's not that you don't know them. You just feel 'icky' talking about them. You feel it's boasting.
Yep, you know all the tricks. The STAR interview techniques. The competency questions. But when it comes to interviews you turn into a nervous wreck. A rambling one at that.
And also, you have some questions of your own. About the values of the organisation. About how companies treat their employees. What opportunities there are for you. But whilst you're so busy trying to make a good impression you're worried you may forget to check if the company is a good fit for you!
Well, no more! You may be suffering from the above. Or you may have some other things that you feel are stopping you from grabbing those opportunities. In an initial conversation we'll quickly find out what support you need and get started on this quick three-session coaching programme.
